Roy Gerritsen (1980) divides his work in two catagories: print (boompje studios) and motion (E202), strongly rooted in the field of music visualisation. Boompje Studios specializes in music related graphic design and takes care of package design, promotional wares for the music industry while E202 focusses mainly on VJ'ing and motion graphics. 'I specially like those astounishing views that blend between atmospheric imaginairy environments and futuristic architectures. Roy makes you wish you could just dive into these landscapes to grab and fly-trough those wicked space objects for real'. - johnny stardust Starting of in 1999 Roy gained experience and respect in the field of music visualization, aiming to set a new standard in the world of vj'ing and motion graphics. With the use of original home-grown software, graphics and visuals Roy and his E202 vj-friends make the big screen come to life. At the moment they concentrate on multi-screen projections, creating massive panoramic views, spread out over multiple screens as one. E202 often works closely with their friends at Scientific Records, spicing up the place with some atmospheric drum 'n bass. Among the many performances in and outside the Netherlands are Innercity, WorldWideVideo Festival, Today's Art and the Lowlands Festival. During these performances E202 visually supported artists such as Dj Krush (Japan),Ed rush&optical (UK), Jeff Mills (US), Tomato(UK) and Peter Greenaway(UK). Published under the Visual Music series I & II of ' NoTV' (Universal Distribution), the E202 clip ' The Fool' has been broadcasted on MTV as vj special. Since 2004 Roy established himself as creative director of the Farewell Industries Assembly, concerned with a broad range of cross-media art and motion graphic projects.
